Be Punctual

I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of being on time for your or your child's martial arts classes. Being punctual has a very positive impact on everyone’s experience and the overall class environment.

Late arrivals can cause unnecessary stress for your child and the instructors, and can disrupt the flow of a planned class. Moreover, when a late student needs to use the restroom before the class starts, it can further contribute to a feeling of disconnection.

Late students are missing out on important moments, such as class lineup, where they engage in valuable social interaction. They miss the partnering up with other classmates. This interaction not only fosters teamwork but also teaches them the essential values of respect for each other's boundaries and effective communication.

The first 5 minutes of class are crucial for setting expectations and the tone for the entire practice. We've noticed that students who arrive early have the opportunity to prepare mentally, place their gear and shoes in a proper place, and even catch up with their friends before class begins. This small adjustment can make a big difference in your child's overall experience.

If your child misses the initial lineup, they miss important information that may affect their progress and performance.

We genuinely value the progress and development of our students, which is why we kindly ask that you make every effort to arrive 5-10-15 minutes prior to class start time.

Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a positive and productive martial arts journey for your child.

Thank you!

Being a student is tough work.
